Well what can I say about me?

5ft 10" ish, look at the pictures at the top of the page to get an idea what I look like, although the left one I had been awake for over 24 hours after traveling to go skiing.

My hobbies include squash, football (soccer), driving around, web design and playing on my XBOX. Pretty normal life so far? I would like to think my music taste isn't one specific genre, my iPod has Slipknot and Usher on it! My favourite bands include - Lostprophets, You Me At Six, Madina Lake, Kids in Glass Houses and Simple Plan... there are many more but the list would be too long! Take a look at any of those bands MySpace's, they are all very good.

I currently live in the wonderful town of Chelmsford in England. It's a normal county town, quite a few people but its not an overwhelming city life. I have lived here all my life and gone to school here. This is all about to change as in September 2008 I'm going to Oxford Brookes university to study Business. It's going to be a fun 4 years there, I'm quite looking forward to it.

Site History

First of all I would like to welcome you to Gold Killer Online. This is the portfolio and blog (mainly blog) of me (Adam Bray). Here I will be posting daily thoughts, reviews and tutorials that you can read and incases Digg.

Gold Killer Online was started by me in 2005 as my first proper website. I wanted it to put games on as well as having a proper forum! I started off by teaming up with my clan mates Ron and Graham. We started off by installing IPB 1.3 to the site and used it as a place to talk about general things. It then evolved into a new site... BioMatrix, we then moved the forum off the site and onto a new domain name. That left this site with very little content. This made me redesign the site with games and to showcase my forum signatures. From there the site went through many different designs (about one every 3 or 4 months).

As I began to pick up PHP the site kept chopping and changing with new features being added. Back in 2007 the site started to get spam in the shoutbox, it was time for an OOP recode! In June 2007 I released the new OOP 2 col version of the site. The design was orange and featured a big picture of my face...nice! That design lasted me 6 months untill I decided to redesign the css of the site, it turned blue and involved transparent .PNG images. I submitted it to CSS Remix but to no avail!

5 months later, after failing to get onto any design sites, along with the blow of going down to PR1, I have decided to recode the site and redesign it. The new site has a comment system with mini user system. It is also fully SEO so Google, come get me! I hope you enjoy it.
