New Music : You me at six - Take off your colours

In the hope of diversifying my content I have decided to review a top album which has recently been released.

In the past year a new band has emerged from the shadows and burst onto the music scene, they are You me at six. You me at six (YMA6) first were seen on Kerrang and other music television channels with their first single Save it for the bedroom which was a huge success. From then on the band has continued to grow in popularity and resultantly played at some of the UK's best festivals - Wakestock and the Reading and Leeds Festival.

On the back of this they have this week released their first full album titled "Take off your colours" or TOYC as the band like to call it for short. The album includes rerecorded versions of some of the bands best songs such as The Rumor, Save it for the bedroom, Gossip and You've Made your Bed. The rerecorded versions pay great respect to the first version of the song as in most cases the song sounding cleaner and more catchy. 1 exception to this maybe The Rumor but the song is still good.

If you are a fan of the band or are looking for a good pop punk album today then TOYC is the perfect buy for you. If you would like further information about the band or would like to listen to some if the songs from the album first then go to:
